Teck Cominico JV

Teck Cominco Limited is a diversified mining and metals company, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Teck Cominco are a world leader in the production of zinc and metallurgical coal and a significant producer of copper, gold and specialty metals.
Teck Cominco must spend CAD$3m by end December 2010 to earn a 75% interest in the 15 zinc licences which are the subject of the joint venture agreement (14 in Co. Limerick and 1 in Co. Cork).
Teck Cominco is the operator.
Work done by Connemara and by Teck Cominco identified drill targets on the Monaster Block.
A drill programme of scouting holes commenced in May 2007.
